Default A little something to help all those with exhaust questions..

I posted this in another thread (OE-RS thread in powertrain forum) and thought some exposure here would better feed the fire.

How about a list, from quietest to loudest, of all exhausts setups for the tc? This depends on people chipping in with their own experiences.

A rough start:

OEM

Megan OE-RS axleback

TRD axleback

Dezod N/A S-pipe catback

Edit at will.

well it'll really depend on what headers you have, if you have a full catback or not.. there are way too many options to create something like this

No, just exhausts. We're doing this from a OEM header prospective.

Well you could also mix and match like megan and tsudo midpipes and axlebacks but i get your point. I would add the HKS Hi-Power after the TRD and Tsudo N1 before the HKS

EDIT:

OEM

Megan OE-RS axleback

TRD axleback

Tsudo N1 axleback

HKS Hi-Power axleback

Dezod N/A S-pipe catback

dezod is the loudest on that list because it is 2.5" and is a s pipe back where the other are just axle back.

I've spent hours on youtube watching all these vids. Most with crap audio from the owners cell phone. And this isn't just for me, its to help others who are looking to buy.

Youtube is such an obvious first place to look for sound samples that it pretty much goes without saying. This is peoples personal experience.

As for the contributors, great job so far!

tsudo catback is extremely loud, but I get compliments all the time about it from gto and mustang owners.
