The Xa, xB, and tC have totally different "Toyota VIP" alarm systems.

The xB Toyota VIP alarm does NOT have a beeper or buzzer, the xA does. That is merely the most obvious difference. There is a vast difference in the programing, also.

For those with the Scion official, optional, Toyota VIP alarm in a Scion xB, this is the manual that the dealer should have given you - the Alarm System Owner's Manual.

If the dealer did NOT give you this manual with your alarm, beat them soundly about the head and shoulders until they cough one up - it is *required* that they give the original owner of the alarm system the owner's manual.

Tomas-- I couldn't find anything suggesting a different system for the RS3. However, it's being a bit stupid on something and I'm wondering if the manual I got was really for the RS3.
