HOW TO WIRE A SAFC(07-08)ecu
well since ill be getting one soon and no one has show how to do it i decided to make a diagram

wow bro i think you set a record with most topics started in 1 day. lol pm a mod to sticky this if you want but i dunno if they will do it. not much people get the safc. and its worthless on a boosted car. thats more for like n/a cars. GL
I agree with Cory. Simple MAF signal modifiers like the SAFC are very limited and probably throw MAF CELs that can't be tuned out. If you're gonna hack into the oem harness, may as well install something good like the FIC.
What size injectors did you get? 440?
The FIC would be better since it does so much more but the SAFC should work okay for modest HP goals. URD, E-Manage Blue and several others tune fuel the same way. I'd suggest you get an OBD2 scan tool but you might not need it since you already have a WB AFR gauge. I can always tell when I enter open loop since the AFR drops from ~14.7:1 to ~11:1.
If you ever decide you want to do some CL fuel tuning, URD has a O2 calibrator that you could add for that.

but essencially for the price of that and my safc i coulda bought a fic so i am gong to stick with only a safc till i get annoyed hahaha i bought it for 137 and people on supra forums sell em for 175-200 so ill make money if i decide to ditch it
I wouldn't be surprised if the Dezod and URD boxes are both made by Split Second. You're probably right to try the SAFC alone for now and if necessary, change to the FIC later. The FIC is hard to beat for value.
You should be okay for ~200whp with the 410s and SAFC. Do you have any pics of your setup? You should post some in the XB2 FI section.

I know what you mean about the toasters, I'm one of those old men! I went to the dealer to buy a Rav4, ended up with the XB, found SL, got sucked into this scene and now have $23k invested in a $17k car with a trade-in value of $13k... WTF was i thinking?
