i was thoroughly impressed!

16.67@80.5mph, with a 2.36 60ft

i did have a better 60ft of a 2.35 on another run

car suffered from bad wheel-hop off the line...so i just ordered an Ingalls stiffy & i'm going to try for 16.4s in a couple weeks, along with a high-flow air filter & the JDM header thats coming in this week

Hooking up can be a scary or humbling experience. At least you didn't stall

Never tried the B but I have a few friends who have. Any video action?

i haven't done the quarter mile yet but i ran in the eighth back when i had my 19's and pulled a low 11

now that i have the 15's and headers i would like to try the 1/4 mile, i think if conditions are right i can get a 15.9 or a low 16

Lol at being impressed with a mid 16 1/4 mile run. The xB is for riding low and slow

Lol at being impressed with a mid 16 1/4 mile run. The xB is for riding low and slow :wink:A lot of cars with a lot more power run 16s. The xB looks better rolling slow with style haha.

That's the neat thing about out xBs - you can race in public and nobody even knows you're doing it.

Actually, low 16's isn't bad at all for a box with a tiny motor.

well, when i was expecting bottom 17s, & started doing 16s, i was impressed, its a full second quicker then my tercel, yet my tercel "feels" faster

long gone are my days of having a fast car, like my old Malibu...but i'm building my van & won't stop 'till it runs at least 13s

I see an El Camino (which, I learned is spanish for 'The Mullet') in the back ground of pic #2!

Very nice van

the el-camino is my dads, he almost always has one...this one has like 230K on the stock 305...he puts oil in it when it knocks, lol, i got junk headers on it, crush bent duals with flowmasters, & bypassed the feedback carb, computer thing, with a normal quadrapuke for him, it runs good for what it is...16.0-16.1s pinging its ___ off on 87 octane
