View Full Version : Don't buy this license plate frame.
I don't see any currently available, but I got this frame from eBay, and installed it roughly 5 months ago, now it's covered in rust. I do not recommend.

i got the wal-mart carbon fiber ones. adds a nice touch and really cheap :P
Max2k 02-07-2005, 03:11 AM Damn, ghetto! I'd go for a scionlife plastic one.
Lonely_Raven 02-07-2005, 03:18 AM I get a Scionlife one if I could get it in Chrome.
I'll probably just get a nice triple chrome plated one and
stencil my screen name on it.
DareDevil230 02-07-2005, 03:21 AM How much did you pay for those? hope u didnt get ripped off that bad.

Don't remember, but it was under $20 after shipping. It did look really nice for about four months.
I want a powder coated black one.
NJthunder5spd 02-07-2005, 03:53 AM why not just sand that one down.. paint it then put another SCION sticker on it?

Good call, will do. Unless anyone knows of any stickers around which will fit, I'll probably just have plain black

That's weak! I've never seen a chrome frame rust! It looked nice too!
I got a chrome TRD Frame from a local store for $10, It hasn't rusted so
far, and if it does, 10 bucks ain't so bad..

SXT_HuntToKill 02-07-2005, 04:58 PM easy to fix bro go get some Never Dull and rub it down really good... let it sit for a while and wipe it with terry cloth... if it s not all off try again... shouldn't have to do it after the second time... plus after you do it never dull protects from rusting again...
VW2SCION 02-07-2005, 05:14 PM that looks nasty... do you remember who you bought it from on ebay? cause i was thinkin about purchasing one but if it's from the same guy that i would definately not

I will look later when I have some time.
Thanks for the advice, But I was wanting a black one anyway. I am gonna paint it tonight. If I get really ambitious, I may mask off where it says SCION, since it appears that section is not rusted.
scion888 is the eBayer's name, sending an email now.
