18K a year! Wowzer... I'd rather rack that up on an old beater, but hey!

It's still a great car for that type of thing. I'd give a bigger tip if I saw a SL sticker!

I have a brand new car bought in july it has 15,000 miles on it, and that is normal highway driving. In texas you can bet you will get between 18k and 25k a year unles you just drive to the store and back like some folks. I think its so funny when i talk to people in small states about how long it takes to get to work some times it takes 1,5 hours to get from the northside of houston to the southwest side where i work sometimes. Once or twice a month i drive a 500 mile round trip to dallas and back. I just relized this came off as a berate it isnt supposed to just trying to inform people they have it lucky when comes driving sometimes. Texas is so huge we should get a totally different type of warranty than other states, this 12k a year crap is dumb for us. My father has a 2003 crew cab diesel with over 150k he lives in dallas and he lives in his truck. Thought you guys like to know how driving here in texas is.
