Question Grills and Factory Fogs

Anyone know of any lower grills that will fit with factory fogs?

I don't think there are any out there that will automatically, because the installation of the OEM fogs on the OEM lower grille requires you to cut into the grille anyway. So even if you purchase an aftermarket grille to utilize on your box, you'll have to cut it anyway using some form of template. Best of luck.

AFAIK, Figure Engineering is the only company that makes a grille set that accommodates the TRD fog lights. Their grilles are also available in a wide variety of finishes. Some people don't like the fact that the lower grille mounts with a bunch of zip ties, but you don't have any other choice if you want something pre-fab'd for the factory fogs.

Oh that's pretty cool. For the longest time I've been scouring eBay for deals, I have never seen that grille. Oh well. That was way before when I first debating what fog lights I wanted. Granted, the OEMs are cool and all, but they're too standard. That's why I'm going with the Carbon Fiber one from Fast Scions.

Thanks for the info guys. Yeah, I've seen the Figure Engineering grills and it looks to be the only grill set which pre-cuts for fogs. They look nice, but I was looking for a tighter mesh look like Grillcraft's MX series.

I might just have to bite the bullet, buy the Grillcraft's then cut them myself. Let's just hope I don't mess it up. That'll be a pretty expensive mistake.

Not sure if anyone's interested, but Grillcraft has told me their MX Series lower grill for the XB2 can be placed right over the factory fogs.

Not sure how that'll look, but I may give that a try if I order them.
