I'm in a need of a new key and so far I found 3 on eBay. I will take the effort into cutting out the transponder/immobilizer chip... that way I save money on programming. Well here it is. Let me know what you think about them especially if you own the key.

This one I know ack154 owns and has his own thread about. I like it... knowing it works but not a big fan of the design.

$19.95 shipped from China.

This one is my personal favorite. Looks kinda bulky though but comes from the same eBay company.

$24.95 shipped from China.

And this one is alright... but it requires to be programmed which will cost me about $45 to do.

looks good, but i bet that thing is expensive as fck if it retracts back into the fob by itself

Nice and long so you have plenty of leverage to snap the key off in the lock on a dark, cold, wet, and snowy night.

Snap it off in what lock? The door?

I don't think any of my keys have ever been inserted into my door handle. Ever. And especially won't now b/c I have keyhole covers (and have for a couple years). Keyless entry FTW.

Seriously though, that top, black key is pretty solid. I've been using mine since like May or June and have zero complaints.

haha, i just bought both keys (the first 2 in the pic). don't know why but i figured if one broke, i have another key instead of waiting 10 years for the other key to ship over from china. only cost me $45 for both keys, free shipping. beats $300 that you gotta pay at the dealership for a regular key. anyways... i have a question though.

when transferring the transponder and the lock/unlock/panic unit over, can the transponder come from one key and the lock/unlock/panic unit come from another key? or do they have to come from the same key in order to work?
