I've got an old azz Nikon 3100 digital that came with a 128MB starter card and I have an 8GB laying around. I tried it in the camera and after successfully formatting the card, it says out of memory. Anyone know what the max card size is for the camera? I'm really newb to photography but I don't wanna buy a new camera so I can hold more than 12 pics lol.

i don't think that old camera is compatible with the 8 gig card.
my old Olympus UltraZoom only can use up 512mb xd card. And my Canon SD600 can only take no more than 2 gig sd card.
