hey there I am in the process of tearing my whole car apart and installing a ____ load of goodies, Since I need a front bumper and I am not about to buy a third stock replacement I want to go custom and just get a full kit. I am going to start buying body parts left and right and wait till I get into my collision class to install and paint the whole car. I am trying to stay under neath 1g but something sick over that range I will most likely do also just take a bit longer. Let me know what you guys think. bodykits for our cars are wackkkk.
the only one i would consider for even a second is kaminari.
if not...OEM or bust.

lol, just look around, theres very few people with aftermarket body kits on here, and for good reason, they look like crap. the few that do have them get flamed by everone.

OEM and 5axis are the cleanest lip kits for sure.

 

the only body kit that i think looks the best is one of AITs widebody kits for the tC. everything else looks like it was made for another car but they just slapped it on the tC. its all up to you man. do what you please but most of us prefer either a lip kit to bone stock.

 

wide body is alot diff than body kit though, it will require even MORE work to fit than one of those horrible fitting aftermarket bumpers.

 

yea with a widebody that is A LOT more work, would need wheels with a crazy offset to make it look good

 

what bout the obsidian kit ? that looks like its not too much

 

you will need 10.5"-11" wide wheel to pull it off.

 

it is pretty clean, but that is a good amount of molding if you want it too look really good, if you are confident in your ability that is cool

 

the red one that comes up online with the kit looks like the flares are riveted on. Im going to take my time with it the car is getting a paint job also.

 

you can take all the time in the world with kit, but if you dont have the right wheels it will look like donkey ___. ive seen this kit in person with damn near stock size wheels and it was one of the most hideous tc's ive ever seen. i wish i still had the picture i took of it.
