some of the ebay ones I believe you have to use zip ties..but if you can find the VRD grills those just snap in place

they just snap in using the stock clips. the bottom is a lot tougher then the top. it should take like 15 minutes max.

same thing right here. i got mine from this seller for a cheaper price actually. i think he has the lowest price, same thing as the VRD grill. all snap in, no drilling no zip ties, nothing. your welcome.

Sorry to bump an old thread.. but is this the grill you're talking about?
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/04-10...ht_2968wt_1165

or this one

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...ht_6643wt_1165

One is 60 bucks, the other is 30. Would modification be required for either one of them for fitment?
I'm just looking for a upper badgeless grill and trying to stay away from spending over 100 bucks on it. If either of those ebay ones work, I'd use that, if not I guess I'll have to spend the money.

The first link is definitely a VRD rep.

both of them are pretty much the same thing, only difference is one for 60 you are getting upper and lower grill, the one for 30 you are only getting the upper grill.

ether one is up to you, i put one off ebay just like those, and i did have to do very minimal mods to make it work, but nothing you would ever even notice, but you can get lucky and i have seen were they all just snap on, and no modding needed.

Hmm. I kind of only want the upper grill as the lower grill isn't that bad on the 07.
I think I might go for the 30 then. I'm really hoping that I won't have to make modifications on it.

Those 2 links are not the same grill. The first link is better quality, thicker plastic, and actually fits. The second link is a very thin grill, easy to see straight through and the fitment is off. You would have to do a little work to make it fit. I've had both of those grills.

So the top one 100% fits? I might just get that then. What kind of work did you have to do to the bottom one.

*when I mean top and bottom, I'm referring to the ebay links*

yea i got what you were saying, just the links the first link is for a upper and lower grill, the second link is for a upper grill only, but i mean if you want only the upper grill i say go for it

i mean the first link like he said above is better quality from the looks of it, but if you go with the second, if there is any modding it will be very minimal i had to mod mine to fit, i only have the upper, but ive switch inbetween the stock and badgeless that i have and even with the modding i did for the badgeless the stock still fits perfect, but if you go with ether i mean if you want upper go with the 30 up to you.

the only modding i did to get my badgless to fit was there was one tab on the bumper i had to cut off to get it to snap into place even with just cutting that tab off i have no issues with the grill had it on since christmas time, and stock fits perfect still no issues..

The prices of those are awesome, but it's the fit that's got me wondering. If the modding is like you said before the simple cutting of a tab, I guess that wouldn't be too bad.

the only thing you can do is if you want it man buy it, and just install it, if there is some modding you will see it when you go to put it on, i cant say your will be exactly like mine, but there was litterally only one tab i had to cut on left side if your looking at it and it fit perfect.

i was the same way when i posted this thread a while ago, i was scared of fitment, and i didnt want to mod, but i modded it even with the modding took me like 15 mins to install it. one of the easiest mods i did even with modding.
