Default Help needed: Rear turn signal

Hello all. The affliction my 05 is suffering from is the passenger rear turn signal not working (The brakes and backup light work). I checked all of the fuses I thought might be related to the problem and they were fine. I also tried two different light bulbs with no success, then checked the bulbs with the other rear signal (the bulbs were fine), and then tried them again without success. Do you have any other suggestions for me to try?

Thanks,

Should not be too hard to figure out. You pretty much did all the troubleshooting anyways.

The bottom line is you are not getting any power to that socket. Or are you?

I have seen the little metal tab on the inside of the socket either bent back where it is not touching the bulb contact, or missing all together. Did you check that??

If all the parts are there, use a test light or multi-meter to check for power (12V), if no power is there, then the fun begins. Chasing wires.

It could be a broken wire, or even a loose plug where the whole assembly plugs in. The whole taillight assy. is easy to remove, except one of the nuts is kinda a pain to get at. A long extension and a swivel socket will help.

Report your findings.

The odd part is that every other bulb on the combo light works just fine (reverse, brake), but just the turn signal does not function. Like I said, I replaced the bulb and checked the fuses to no avail, so it must be something wrong with the wiring harness. I'll take a look at metal connectors to see if they are compromised as you suggest. I really hope it isn't a short or broken wire because THAT will be a pain in the A.

Is the socket twisted on tight? it might not be making good contact. Are they stock or aftermarket Tails?
My aftermarkets were a _____ to get twisted all the way for good contact. Try the whole socket on the other side to see if its the culprit and/or try the working side socket & bulb on the trouble side.

The tails are stock. I know I am making a tight connection when I turn the bulb in.
