I need some help installing my interior LED kit i ordered from TRD sparks. it had no instructions. Also im thinking a piece or two might be missing. Anyone have a list of what should be included?

I have already e-mailed them, there was no answer when i called a little bit ago.

Thanks

should have peeped their site out, most of the stuff they sell they put the instructions online.

That is for the footwells and the cup holders, so there is more wiring

DJ08tc beat me to it.

On other note, did you really spend 100+$ on the interior lighting cathodes plus 2 leds? Where as you could have bought it for like 30 bucks on oznium? If possible return it! And buy it from there

just found the ones on trdsparks. kinda feel like an idiot lol, kept looking over them.

Yeah i know its kinda expensive, but nothing beats the fit of dealer parts, and i really had no idea anyone else had them.

you can get a oznium cathode kit with i think 2 12" tubes and for $9, then all you would need is some extra wire and a switch which is like 10 bucks.

sorry to burst your bubble but still with the dealer you have to drill holes into the cup holders lol.

will extending the wires affect the light output?

For the trdsparks kit, just install it like they say.

If you get a kit from oznium, do not extend the wires that go from the cathodes to the transformer, but it is okay to extend the + & - from the transformer to hook it up to the battery and ground.

why because we tried to save you some money, then someone asked a question about the same thing and people answered it. Instead of making another thread on the same exact thing

in all my time here i know the mods rarely read anything. this should have been about a 5 thing post. nothing more. and yet it still is allowed to maintain.

just because i haven't been active in the past 6 months, doesn't mean i haven't helped all kinds of people out.

Really, SL has turned into a joke, thats why i left in the first place.

uhh.. the only attitude i saw in this thread was the one coming from the OP...

btw, it's a little obvious you are completely OCD about installing it the "factory" way... which you gave off the attitude as you thinking it is apparently the most superior method.

have you seen the factory kit installed in a vehicle then? being able to see the actual acrylic bars is not the best method... though again, it's an opinion and yours may be different.

mods read and oversee alot of things.. so don't assume anything.
we do have priorities and taking actions come just as such. before you point fingers to who has the attitude and what went to crap. look in the mirror first.. if i had taken action to this thread the way i did it before the changeover.. you wouldn't have gotten your answer. i would've pointed in a direction and locked this thread immediately.

my decision to leave this thread open was actually me being nice.
if you prefer how i did things before, let me know. i have no problem being brutal to those that don't know better.

and yet.. you refused to accept the help received?
not my problem. however the answer is provided and no further discussion is needed.

i'm done.
