Does anyone have a rough idea of the weight of a EMX super 7? Just curious if they're a heavy wheel or not.

i'd like to know too know that i have a set of them. i heard they're somewhat lightweight for 18s.

I am thinking about buying a set, just trying to decide what I want to do.

Aren't the stock wheels 19 pounds? 3 more pounds per wheel, plus larger heavier tires, would be a fairly significant difference.

the 17s are at least 24 lbs

Modified Magazine says both the stock and EMX rim are the same weight, doesnt say how much?

The stock 17s are somewhere between 22-24 lbs, not sure of the exact some people say different but they are defiantly not below 20.

I would think that having a bigger rim it would use a lower profile tire which would weight less than a normal profile tire....more rubber...
But I put my super7 rim on a bathroom scale it said 22...it could be wrong don't know how accurate it is.
But if they both weigh the same then I say the 17would be heavier with the bigger tires.

I have some 18" EMX Super 7's that I recently took off my xD and replaced them with Axis Decades that are just sitting in boxes in my garage...Tomorrow I will pull one out and weigh it for you and take a pic of it on the scale for proof...

The EMX Super 7's might be for sale soon without tires...Here's what they looked like on my xD:

As promised I just weighed them on my digital scale...I made sure to take off all the balancing weights prior to weighing it...My scale is pretty accurate...The Enkei Super 7's weigh in at 20.6 pounds...Not bad for an 18" rim...

if you do a search for Scion Tc OEM rim, you will not find many sites that
provide the weight of the rim.

But one of the few that do states that a single OEM rim weighs 30 pounds.

it is not 30 lbs, it is like 22, I have seen somebody on here that weighted it.

I would if I had a stock tC rim laying around :) But if I do recall, I remeber they were somewhere in the 22# range...

Sweet that means my scale is accurate...Wait a minute, that sucks, my scale tells me i'm fat...

yeah we ended up putting my tires on the stocks and we painted 08_scion_tc 18" (7's)... so while we were at it... the scaled came in handy..
i was pretty shocked at the weight for both of them..

08_scion_tc might have his for sale. He just put brand Ned tires on them 5 days ago. Pm him.

I will be selling mine soon but I will be keeping it local first...Keep you in mind if I don't get any takers right away...Man shipping to New Yerk could be quite expensive...

Woah I didnt knew they were lighter than stock 17" wheels. I love my 7's.
