My friend recently soldering in an aux port into his aftermarket HU in his integra, making it so the FM-2 button instead does the aux input. I was wondering if it was possible to do the same thing with the 2005 Scion tC HU and make the "SAT" button do the aux port instead. I would be having my friend who did it to his integra and my brother with his Electrical Engineering Major helping me.

Why not just get an aux adapter like the PIE TOY03?

 

The expense - doing it myself would be considerably cheaper.
