I would like to replace the stock springs on my tc with TRD lowering springs. Is it really necessary to replace the shocks as well? Any thoughts anyone? Thankx!

Is it really necessary to replace the shocks as well? Any thoughts anyone? Thankx! jermcruz 02-08-2005, 08:29 PM nope. there are many posts about this so search around the forum. ty6 02-10-2005, 11:23 PM A better way to have replied would have been, "you can find a lot of information by doing a search first before just posting a message. But to answer your question, if you just want to go for looks and styling, you can just buy the springs, and if you want to go for performance you'll eventually need to replace the shocks because they won't hold up for too long with the new springs. Hope this helps! unseen 02-15-2005, 01:59 AM stock struts will lsat between 20000-30000 miles before you need to change them. hahaitzskippy 02-15-2005, 08:22 PM it will work but if u want a SmOOTHER ride then get the TRD shocks TRD SHOCKS are made with the TRD SPRINGS |
