Tsudo or MMW header...
Are you putting the header in through the top or the bottom?
It wasn't going in when putting it from the top, and it got a lot further when put in from the bottom.

I need a quick answer. Face palm.

 

I heard u have to remove ur fans to insatll it. u might have to do that

install it from the bottom. with a little twisting itll pop right in their.

 

Did you have to take off your fans?

 

nope. just twisted it up their no problem but just takes a minute trying to get it up their.

 

Keep getting caught on the oil pan. I was able to put it in from the bottom and get it out of the top.

 

its not an easy header to install.

 

it is pretty tough, i broke some plastic gettin mine in...

 

i removed the fans, dipstick tube and installed mine from the bottom. good luck chris, its a PITA

 

Take off fan, remove dipstick and drop it in from the top. Horrible fitment.

I don't see how it's horrible fitment..the different headers for our car are crazy easy to install compared to a lot of other cars...

 

not really horrible fitment, jus tedious to install, and its only the MMW & Tsudo that are like that. but besides that compared to most cars like my old MK3 jetta the tc header install is cake.

With the mmw you can shake it up from the bottom. Fan removal is not necessary.

 

Where the header meets the block, I had to pound it on with a hammer. Did not line up.
S Pipe to mid... didn't line up right. I've install many exhausts before. I think I just got unlucky.

 

take out dipstick and fan shroud and put in from the bottom,carefull of the radiator,it has a tight fit to get past,if you have an automatic it is even worse to get past the coolant lines.

 

did you buy it brand new or used? I think I remember hearing some of the older ones having poor fitment

 

take off the fan, and it'll open up a lot of space for you. when i installed mine, i did it from the top. when i uninstalled it, i just let it down through the engine bay, meaning both ways can be done. just wiggle it in and enjoy the rasp.
