It is a concept car, I don' t know how old though. I have a concept car book and that is in there. I know it was definetly before the Scion

 

It reminds me of the cars in that movie Total Recall.

It would be fine if the steering wheel wasn't on the wrong side! LOL

 

I think that I saw this concept on TV once. It was an exercise in wheelchair accessibility which is why it has the large sliding door and big open area in the back. Toyota and Honda are both really big on that accessibilty thing in Japan.

Probably not the next Scion though...

I honestly am curious about what the successor to the xB will look like. Only time will tell.

we'll probably never see it here. . . sliding doors don't do too well in side impacts. . . ESPECIALLY IF IT IS THE ONLY DOOR!

I like it a lot, but I doubt it's the next bB. You can see bB styling cues in the concept though, especially in the front end.
