If I just start it up and go when the car's cold the first shift can be a little jarring.

Take it easy on the cold start-ups. Mine does not shift as quickly when cold, so it revs up more if pushed, before shifting, and it is kind of jarring. Learned that from experience.

Default shifting

alot of u are saying that you only have problems when it shifts as the first shift, my car dose it anytime i'm driving 40 and under. i can be driving for 30 min and it still dose it. i guess i should just take it in. cuz it dose not seem normal.
