what to get to accompany my trd muffler?
hey guys, so i currently have the trd muffler. i was thinking of doing straight pipes to it from the cat back but have a feeling it would b too loud... so my question is should i buy a mid pipe for it? or mayb an s pipe? which one would be more beneficial while keeping the sound of the trd muffler or mayb even making it deeper. trying to avoid rasp at all costs. does anyone have any clips of trd muffler + ...... i dont have a header or cai. Last but not least it has to retain the, as i like to call em, "blops" u get when u let off gas. fireballs are a plus
I would leave it alone. If your planning on staying N/A dont touch it. Your not gonna gain much in power. Your brain will tell you you have but your not gonna really feel the 1-2whp gain.
and then there was this.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vI5xDisMse4

That's my buddy Ray's old tC. Man, I miss it. =[ It was nice and clean.
I wouldn't suggest ANY headers with the TRD. It'll just cause it to be very raspy. Rays' tC was a bit raspy with the mid already. Just get a CAI, if you don't want to change the sound too drastically. The CAI will just make it a bit louder. I loved the combo I had - Fujita CAI + TRD Exhaust.

I'm running the TRD exhaust with a custom 2.5" header back system + a TRD SC, however in order to keep the TRD exhaust from sounding like crap, I have a 40" resonator, its heavy as hell, but I get the sound I want.
