Default NE 1 done this headlight mod?

LED in the headlight.

I want to do this mod so bad but not have seen any XB2's with them I know the 5mm led from Oznium seems to be the common ones used on the TC's and XB1's but wondering how hard the install would be and if removing the whole lamp unit is a must to do it on the Box ver 2....

If you have it done and got some pics plz post up and lemme know your thoughts... need all the help/advise/notes I can get...lol

Here is a shot of mine.

I've got 6 around the low beam and 12 in the reflector above the turn signal.

As for how to do it, yes you have to take the headlight out and then bake it so that you can seperate everything to drill them. All of mine are 5mm. I didn't get the Ozniums just ordered a bunch off of Ebay. I have a total of 96 white LEDs on the front of the car.

Hey Greg are you having problems with your LEDs because of the heat from the headlight?

I used to have LEDs from ebay in my tCs headlights and they burnt out after 3 months maybe

Nope no problem at all, been runnng them for about three months already and they still work fine. There is an air gap between the projector and the plastic insert so that may be helping.

ya that must be it. My LEDs were exposed directly to the projectors heat
