Default Belt tensioner shock, is this how it goes?

Can anybody check under your hood and see if this is how the belt tensioner shock goes?, I re-installed it today(I took it off about a week ago to let it sit in WD40 for a day or two) and I'm guessing this is how it goes, thanks......

The picture view is from underneath looking up.

^^ yeah that looks correct from the diagram i have in the service manual. The rubber cover is towards the bottom bolt. So yep, you have it correct.

You know what, now that I'm looking at it carefully, I think you're right, the other way makes more sense, cause it will keep the liquid inside from spewing out, gotta re-due it now, thanks.
