Default My Box IS upside down

Well guys I don't post to often but I just was in an accident that left my beloved box on it's roof. All because of a blind coner after a hill. Well The roof is pretty dented in, A pillar is dented, rear driver door messed up and front and back drivers quarter panel messed up. But on the good side of things me and all of my buddies were wearing our safty belts and there were no injuries. I'll try to get some pictures so you guys can take a look. I would like others who have recked the 05 boxes to give me what the insurance gave them if they totaled the box. It is a sad sad time.

Oh man, I'm sorry to hear about your roll over!
I'm glad everyone was OK!

Could you please explain what happened better? Did you
just not know about a turn and go off the road? Do you feel
the box was easy to tip, or was it a curb or ditch that
really threw you over?

Good luck with the insurance, I hope it doesn't bite you in
the long run!

I just hit NADA to see what bluebook would be, and it's
too new of a vehicle for them to have any pricing. So, sorry
but I can't help you out there either.

Well my xB went off the road on to a sloped ditch that had about a 330 degree pitch and stoped for about three seconds then it rolled on to its roof inverted. I personally do not think that it rolled due to the fact of how the car was made but due to a shift of weight in the soft clay dirt the ditch was made of. None of the glass was broken out of the car or even cracked. The fram seems straight the doors all operate fine. But the roof is dented inwards in to the passanger cockpit from where the window starts to about two feet back. The interor held fine. The seat belts kept all the passangers firm in the seats while the car was inverted. But if any one could give me any info on other boxes that fliped I would appreciate it very much so. I really think the scion xB is a stable car. The edge of the road was no firm enough to hold it. I felt safe throught the whole experence and was amazed to how the ole box held up.

Here fellas. I was able to post one of my Scion after I put it upside down so here goes. We got lucky that the side of the road where it went off was perfectly cleared out. Probably from other cars.

hmm wow doesnt look too bad though... assuming it got flipped back over without incident, could be alright if its just dents and paint. if its structural.. yeah then its toast... but i'm thinking its a good sign that no glass broke.

anyhow sorry to hear about your accident...

Thanks for the photo and the description, sounds like the
xB handled the rough treatment well.

Again, good luck with the insurance (and the beer bottle
in the photo!! LOL).

I bet the other side doesn't look so good though!

Clean undercarriage.
Now we understand better that bumper sticker that says "keep the rubber side down!"

Keep us up to date on what happens brother, and take care.

I dont want to even imagine how a tC would hold up if it were flipped upside down with the all glass roof. Im thinking a lot of head and face injury?
