I have an 05 XB with 43k mi. on it. A few months ago I got a intermittent CEL. I got Autozone to flash the OBD II and it came up with a code of P0012. This relates to a cam gear and solenoid. There's a TSB on it which I printed and made an appt. with the local dealer. I dropped off the car and they claim since the light is not on now (it's intermittent) they can't fix it. I call BS and tell them the code is stored in the OBD II memory, they say no. I called Scion to escalate this and they will not give out district managers contact info. They tell me to talk to the dealership. Anyone have any #'s for any Regional offices/District managers for Virginia?

 

best bet is to wait for the light to come on again...it must have been on when you went to autozone???
