Default 08_Scion_tC Build/Pic Thread

Okay I figured it was time to start a build thread on my car...

It's a 08' nautica blue, bought it new, had 257 miles on it.

Kept it completly stock for 1.5 years.

First mods were Tein H-tech springs, Figs upper and lower grill, DC Sports strut bar and a trd axle back.

I then switch my tails out for some 05'-07' tails.

I then color matched my waterfall, put in a TWM Stage 2 SS, and a custom stereo.

Also got a short antenna.

I then painted the stock 17's gold.

Then switched them out for some gold Super 7's

I then took my car to ptuning on Dec 7th...

Got there spec ss turbo kit, 3 inch back exhaust, and a dyno tune by Toan.

Just got back last night with the car. Currently don't have any pics of the setup due to 18"+ of snow outside. But will get them up asap!!! Reminder this is only tuned on 8.5psi.

And of course the driver, me...

Man get a car cover my car is facing the storm right now and the cover is doing justice! No need to scrape off ice or snow and I park in a driveway no garage, dealer car cover is the best solution for non garage scion owners living in cold states.

Gotta give it to Ptuning their kits offer pretty good power for only 8 psi.

True that, but what's even more important is the power band. Check out that torque curve, that's pretty dang flat untill after 5000rpms which is were our head stops breathing until you upgrade the valvetrain. Compare it to some other dyno sheets and see how their torque curve looks in relation to the one produced by the PTuning system.
