I saw this deal a few weeks ago when I was looking for some sticky tires, I was originally looking at nt-05's but couldn't pass this deal. They are awesome tires! grips so well in both dry and wet condition. One of best bang for the buck tires out there.

Got tires and submitted rebate form thru fax already. The deal goes on til next April so you guys have lots of time.

I have a feeling that Falken will debut next gen. or RT tires soon tho.

^^ i heard the rt-615's weren't too good in the wet, but I saw you were tracking your car with them. Did you spin out because of them at all?

between all the other "street" tires the rt's are old and out dated, they do have a reputation to be slippery in the wet, and they heat cycle out rather quickly leaving you with greaseballs. but you will have a fast first lap

I actually did spin out a couple times but those were caused by wet mud on the track + my car's habit to oversteer. But yea many ppl say rt's don't really grip well in wet conditions but I think they are way more predictable than other tires in the same category so you know when you are about to lose control. This is my first time with these tires so I need more time using them but I like it so far :lol:

Yea I kinda noticed my tires became kinda loose after 3~4 hot laps on 3 mile track so I had to take easy after.

yeah they were great when they came out all those years ago, but they just dont hold up well compared to what else is out there. many people experience running out of life long before the tread is gone

Hopefully Falken will release new azenis series with better performance soon.

I wanna try Nitto NT-05's tho. I've heard they grip really well and I just like its tread design. haha

i need stock sized tires, but i dont race at all, just want a good daily tire. and with a total of about 320, they come out just as good a deal as "cheaper" tires

only thing thats pushing me away is the 200 threadwear, anybody daily drive these? wanna get an idea of how many miles i can expect out of these!

i daily drove my rs2s for two years with autocross as well, but i run a dedicated snow tire in the winter. but the cool thing about tires in these categories is that you can run them right down to the chords

i had the azenis for autocross. they grip good once warmed up. however, in the rain the suck! i dont recomend them for the rain at all but if you have them on while its raining drive slow cause theres almost no grip/traction.

i just bought me a set of all season toyo proxes 4 and they work great. im gonna do my first autocross with them jan 9th so we'll see how they do. so far they are great tires.

looking at the deal on the falkens, i might just buy another set just to have for summer/autocross tires later on cause they are good tires, just not in the rain.

i daily drove a set of azenis for 8,000 miles including autocrosses.

I had really good luck with the Yoko Parada Spec-2's. I know they aren't as popular anymore but were a great year-round tire for me, even did great in the Snow! On S-drives now as they were sold out f the Paradas when I needed tires :(

Personally my BFGoodrich TA gforce sports and KDW2s have been the best as far as all season and summer tires are concerned (respectively). Very predictable dry handling on both and after about a 2mi hot lap they stick like no other, my only issue is the wet weather handling on the gforce sports gets really twitchy, i guess i was too used to how predictable they were in the dry. on ice however theyve done great.
