The DF-210's and the Tein S-Tecs are both great springs. The DF-210's have been out much longer than the tein's and Tanabe was the only company to offer a spring's with that low of a drop when the xB came out. I have the Tanabe NF-210's and i cant say one bad thing about the spring or the company. Now you have the S-Tech's have not seen too much hype on the springs, i know there are 2 or more members running the S-techs and have not said anything bad. I feel either one you go with you should def be happy......

The choice really depends on your priority. The DF's have softer spring rates than the S-Tech's. If you want a softer more compliant ride, I'd say go with the DF's. If you want a little crisper handling with less body roll, go with the S-Tech's.

Excellent info! People frequently don't appreciate the nature of the differences when drawing comparisons. Ride and handling is an individual preference thing, and even if 90% of people went with a particular model, that wouldn't mean it would be the best choice for you.

can anyone post up pics of like 17s or maybe 18s on both springs? im also deciding between the two, im more concerned of ride height because i want to be lower, i wouldnt mind have a soft ride but i also wouldnt mind having a tighter ride.

TEIN S-Tech or Hotchkis springs on stock steelies (getting 17-18s in the future). Hotchkis are cheaper but seem good based on just a few posts I've read. They also come with some extra black pieces, what are those for? I'm leaning toward Hotchkis because they also make swaybars. Any reports on if those are any good btw? Thanks

hotchkis springs and swaybars are as good as anything else out there for our xb2s. hotchkis may not be as popular as tein or tanabe but their a high quality brand, they make great stuff

all depends on your roads,, here in new england,, you want a more cushy ride cause of the horrible bumpy roads,, where i lived in florida,, the only bumps were speed bumps, so i would go with what is better for your region...

having a car that handles like its on rails is nice when you don't puke after driving it.. lol
