Default 2009 XB Cargo Cover

http://parts.donjacobsscion.com/imag...CargoCover.jpg
http://media.il.edmunds-media.com/sc...g_fd_1_815.jpg

this cargo cover (the one bought from the dealer has these brackets to hold it).

my sub box is 14.625" tall...does anyone know how high the actual cargo cover goes to, looks to be somewhere between 14-16" just by measuring but i have no way of knowing for sure. Anyone with a cargo cover in an XB2 can tell me? my 10w7 prowedge is gonna be packed in the right side (or left, granted whichever is a better fit) under the cargo cover if possible.

thanks for checking!

EDIT, found the answer by searching a bit deeper... 14" EFFF

Don't give up so quick. I just measured mine. It is indeed 14" - with the hatch raised and the little cords raising the cargo cover at about a 45 degree angle.

However, if you release the little cords and just let the cargo cover rest flat, the clearance is 15".

So, you basically gain another inch if you don't allow the cargo cover to pivot upward when opening the hatch.

Why do you want to go with the 10W7 so bad? $350 isn't bad for that driver, but there's better out there for cheaper.
Plus, I don't think that the 10W7 would sound optimal in a 'Stealthbox' style of enclosure.
You could look into Fi Car Audio. They're a great company and you could go with a subwoofer suited to your needs.
If you're not all that audio savvy, feel free to PM me.

Yezzir!!! Too bad it's full of fail. 3 recones within a year, one of which was my fault though... Time for a custom route.
I still owe you pics... It's so d*mned cold outside. I hate going out there. You'll get some craptastic T-Mobile G1 pics.

Roof rack, FTW!!!

But I know what you mean. I have an enclosure build coming up for my buddy. Getting rid of the spare and building a full false floor. Housing a couple Diamond Audio D3 8's. Should sound alright.

It depends, really. I have a buddy that scooped up an entire rack and a gaggle of accessories via a craigslist-like local website.

If you're smart about it and find used stuff, you can get a whole rack for around $100-$150. The accessories are where they get you. I'm looking into a rack. Kinda depends. The new bike I want is around $500 24" BMX/Cruiser bike. I'm over 6 feet tall and my 20" bike just doesn't cut it. I look like a bear on a minibike.
