i had a gen2 swapped into my 92 MR2 and its crazy, just to hear the turbo whine

if you go with a swap, i suggest you go with a celica 3sgte, it has top mount intercooler too

that was the idea with the top mounthave the cold air inket on the hood but i figured that the mr2 was more common knowledge than the celica four trac or gt-4 what ever its called

i always liked the 3sgte or the 4ag blue top.

I also say swap as that motor has more potential. Quick side note on the top mounted IC Celica. Friend of mine (Joe) went to a local mechanic that he never dealt with for what reason I don't know. He was having some electrical problems that he couldn't quite figure out. Anyway long story short he goes in the mechanic walks over to the car pops the hood and the mechanic says well I can see your first problem, whats that Joe responds. Well your radiator is in the wrong spot. True story, p.s. the mechanic never touched the car after that.
