Don't be serious, I wasn't expect this either! I was at red light, he pumped up next to me and open his window and said, hey nice ride, you want a race? I was like huh? Alright! Here we go... I was at the 1st gear he's already lag back, and the 2nd gear I was like 3 cars ahead of him, after 3rd gear, he made a turn to no where and gone.

 

Next time you see him, just pull next to him and ask want to lose a race?

Whats wrong with street racing beside the kids that get there parents to by them fast cars and they kill themselves. You have to have skill and ____ for street racing!!~!LOL!!!

By no means I support street racing, I just find it funny someone in a Soul would want to race a 2nd gen xB thinking they got something to be proud about. Now it would be a different story if they pulled up next to a kid on a tricycle.

 

Like the kid that wrecked a GT-R cuz he was chasing his friend in a EVO. Stupid parents.

Wow, I would have loved to see that race between the Soul and the xB. I probably could have just ran along side you guys and watched it play out. jk

 

Everyone assumes the street race was dangerous. But hitting third gear he could still be at the speed limit depending on the road. I race to the speed limit. Haha.

 

it may have been a 1.6 vs.the 2.0 ... I would think the 2.0 would be a close match @142hp and a lighter vehicle....
now we don't promote street racing btw

 

When I do race, I generally hang in till about 60 and then let off. If I was winning fine, if not fine. Not gonna hit the 70-90 marks on the street. Not unsafe as long as you manage it.

happens to me all the time i try to go just as fast as them till about 50 then give up now when something worth racing does it then i show them my 400hp xb and say haha by by then let off

 

My favorite is to bust the party. Get a couple lengths behind a race and when a gap forms split it and freak em both out.
