Default 18x8,18x9 35-offset real aggressive for tC

Just wondering if any1 ever seen, or if possible have this aggressive set-up allready! If yes, are their pix of ur tC's with it that i can veiw! My buddy at the local tire & wheel shop wants to do a 18x8,18x9-35 offset aggressive tire & wheel fitmant;
tire size: front 225-40, rears 255-40 and yes with a moderate drop, like Eibach Pro-kit, H&R Sport or even TRD springs!

It will be just about flush! props for correct fitment! Save the money on the springs and get coils, even if they are the racelands, they are just about the same cost-wise!

front tire size sounds good, but the 255 in the rear is both too big, and pointless, lol
go with the 225's all around

I agree. 235 is the highest I've ever gone. No need for something that wide in the rear... Wheel and tire wise...

225 all around is what I ran on my iForged.

9" +35 isn't that aggressive on a tc especially in the rear.

I used to run 9" +25 all around and it wasn't aggressive enough for me so I'm at 10" +23 all around now but it still isn't aggressive for me. haha 10" +0 in the future

My fenders are rolled/shaved/pulled tho.

here's a picture of 9" +25 with 235/40 tires in front with about -1 degree of camber. i'd say it's semi-flush.

and this is same setup in rear with -2.6 camber (can't really see the rear quarter panel tho) also semi-flush.

one more thing.

there's no point of running wider tires in the rear, that will just cause more understeer and looks weird on a FWD car but since you will be running staggered setup, it's up to you.

but if you really want 255 tires in the rear, go with 255/35/18, 255/40 is way to tall on 18"

18x8 35 is not aggressive. I did this myself but 19x8 35 on 225-35's on tein springs. Fit well under the wells. If you want aggressive go with 30 or lower.

Nah, man i can't go no more less than a 35 profile in the area of town i live in, with all the potholes an road inperfections n wat not. I think 19's are cool, but i'm in that 30's yr. old crowd, so I need to keep nice an moderatly concervative.

haha I live near San Francisco and go to work to SF where there are like 5 potholes in one block and uphills/downhills everywhere. ppl tell me I'm crazy driving my car to the city but oh well I'm used to it.

I'm too lazy to dodge all the potholes so I usually hit a handful potholes everyday but work wheels are pretty strong.

scraping/rubbing/dodging potholes are just a part of game.

haha, I didn't see your post. I saw just scionrider's post and I thought he was talking about sidewall cuz he said 35 profile. at least that's what he meant.
