Just wondering if any1 ever seen, or if possible have this aggressive set-up allready! If yes, are their pix of ur tc's with it that i can veiw! My buddy at the local tire & wheel shop wants to do a 18x8,18x9-35 offset aggressive tire & wheel fitmant; tire size: front 225-40, rears 255-40 and yes with a moderate drop, like Eibach Pro-kit, H&R Sport or even TRD springs!:lalala:

It will be just about flush! props for correct fitment! Save the money on the springs and get coils, even if they are the racelands, they are just about the same cost-wise!

just search for rotas pics, there are a bunch of people with 18x9.5 +37 it will give you a general idea.
also check this thread out, they might have a closer example.
front tire size sounds good, but the 255 in the rear is both too big, and pointless, lol
go with the 225's all around

I agree. 235 is the highest I've ever gone. No need for something that wide in the rear... Wheel and tire wise...
225 all around is what I ran on my iForged.

9" +35 isn't that aggressive on a tc especially in the rear.
I used to run 9" +25 all around and it wasn't aggressive enough for me so I'm at 10" +23 all around now but it still isn't aggressive for me. haha 10" +0 in the future :lalala:
My fenders are rolled/shaved/pulled tho.
here's a picture of 9" +25 with 235/40 tires in front with about -1 degree of camber. i'd say it's semi-flush.

and this is same setup in rear with -2.6 camber (can't really see the rear quarter panel tho) also semi-flush.

10" +23 with 225/35 for more stretch

there's no point of running wider tires in the rear, that will just cause more understeer and looks weird on a FWD car but since you will be running staggered setup, it's up to you.
but if you really want 255 tires in the rear, go with 255/35/18, 255/40 is way to tall on 18"

18x8 35 is not aggressive. I did this myself but 19x8 35 on 225-35's on tein springs. Fit well under the wells. If you want aggressive go with 30 or lower.

Nah, man i can't go no more less than a 35 profile in the area of town i live in, with all the potholes an road inperfections n wat not. I think 19's are cool, but i'm in that 30's yr. old crowd, so I need to keep nice an moderatly concervative.

haha I live near San Francisco and go to work to SF where there are like 5 potholes in one block and uphills/downhills everywhere. ppl tell me I'm crazy driving my car to the city but oh well I'm used to it.
I'm too lazy to dodge all the potholes so I usually hit a handful potholes everyday but work wheels are pretty strong.
scraping/rubbing/dodging potholes are just a part of game.
Hey What Side skirts are those?!
Oh i love the wheel and wheel fitment!

the ride isn't comfortable cuz damper on my coilovers is at stiffest + yea the low profile tires
Both my rims and tires are still okay no damages on them. Like I said I hit potholes everyday and some of them are really bad. One time I hit a pothole that was at least 2inch deep on the freeway and I had to pull over and check to see if I bent my rim or not cuz I started to hear a noise after hitting it but it was all good.

That's amazing that those rims can take such road punishment, must be really strong forge 2 or 3 piece rims you have on their. But do ever pop tires after hitting potholes, cause here in New Jersey, not too many guys ride around on streched tires if any, people pop tires wit 35 pro tires on bad pothole streets. One more thing, what coilovers and rims do have (NAMES!) please.:|

my vs-xx's are 3piece and I think it's forged center disk with cast/spun barrel or cast/spun all 3piece.
I've never been to New Jersey so idk how bad the road is but here in bay area has one of worst conditioned streets in nation but some ppl still stretch their tires (including me! :lalala:). so it's mainly up to you, if you think you won't regret doing it then I say go for it cuz nicely stretched tires look awesome!
