I don't know if there is one started or not, but I would really be interested in starting a scion club for people here in the Phoenix Metro Area, hell even the whole state if the out of towners are into it. I have talked to a couple of shops one in NW Phoenix (Arrowhead) and one in Mesa that said they would be happy to host meetings and get togthers for all. I'm for it; and I agree with malina about having poorly designed stickers for the cars. Keep it clean, simple, and small.

I Agree with what has been said so far. I don't want any goofing looking stuff either. The reason for having a group would be to:
1. Get to know our fellow scion owners.
2. Be able to do group buys on items.
3. Raise money for charities.
4. Have fun with people that share the same interest.
Just a thought, I'm sure everyone has there own thoughts also, so let's get it togther!

Name Suggestion: the Scion line of cars are all dubbed with two letters from the alphabet with the second letter capitalized. So why not something like:

-Club aZ
....etc, you get it? or am I just being dumb?

I am up for Scion Innovations. Think it sounds great. Would really like to see the logo that was done up. So I guess the next question would be when and where do we meet for the first time. scion evolution only has 3 members in az, its nation wide though.. Not sure where they meet b/c i havent been back long enough to go to any. I stationed in SanDiego so i hang with this SE crew out here and SoCal tc club. Could pick a place or something.

I’m parked between two, three, four xB when I’m there; I’m feeling kind of lonely being one of the few tC. Since the TC are looking to get a meet together and this is a club for ALL Scions……..right? Let’s bring it all together, I’m sure you would agree.

Like I have said, we only see 1 or 2 TCs at a time. We need to see more TCs show up. I have only seen 1 XA show up, and that was a couple months ago.

I showed up and parked with the boxes a few weekends ago, didn't feel very welcomed there :( so i've been parking with the MR2's since that's where I last left off.

They don't usually let you reserve but they do run special interest sections so I guess somebody needs to talk with McDonalds. The last few weekends (not last one) were heavy due to Barret Jackson. I think it will slow down some now but it would be nice to not be in the motorcycle row. Then again maybe the XB's don't look as small there.

Hello everyone. My name is Thepmala. I just got myself an xB. In love with it, yes I am. I was told by my boyfriend to check out this site. I don't know much about cars, or car clubs so maybe one of you can fill me in with what y'all do as a car club?

So the word I the street that I hear is that no-one is going to going to the Pavillions. I think that Im still going to go, but it wil be a last minute thing.

Definatley support the idea of a club, excellent to meet new people who found pure pricing in their life. Although I'm not local to the Pa-Honix area, I sometimes ride up to the Pavilions to hang out with fellow Scionists'.

The idea of kicking the get togthers around the valley has been brought up and makes a very valid point. There are some really cool things that are going to be happining in the next 8 weeks. I am not at liberty to talk about it now but just wait, it is going to blow all of your minds!

Take the 10 to the 60 and go a few exits until you see the McClintock exit.
Turn right on McClintock (south)
Go about 1/4 -1/2 mile south... IIRC you go through one smaller light before you get to baseline.
Turn left just after Baseline onto the S/E corner shopping center (I think). Or you might want to turn left at Baseline and then take a right into the shopping center.

Back to the club idea, and not to rain on anyone's parade... but I voted yes. It'd be cool to be part of a bigger national club, but I think that a smaller tight-knit local club has many upsides to it as well. Aside from which, do the two need to be mutually exclusive of each other... I mean why couldn't someone belong to both? I understand the argument of, "Why reinvent the wheel?", but there is also something to be said for having our own identity :).

Anyhow, since the early consensus seems to be Scion Innovations, and since I wanted to play around with Gimp and see if it's improved at all over the last year... I made a few quick logos. I don't expect anyone to be falling all over themselves saying how great they are... I mean... well... they suck. But maybe one of them will get a creative spark going in someone else and they'll be able to come up with a killer logo or something :).

I'm new to the Phoenix area. I moved here from Austin Tx a week ago. I am interested in meeting with some fellow Scion owners to meet people and to get to know the area. This thread has jumped all over the place regarding meets. Some people talk about the Pavillions and others are talking about a Phoenix area club. Can anyone explain to me what the Pavillions is and what goes on there? Sounds like a lot of different types of cars shows up there. Also, is there going to be a meet anytime soon for local Scion owners? Someone mentioned next weekend. I would interested in meeting some people then if you have one. I drive a Flint Mica tC so all of those that wanted more tC's I have one!!

Welcome to the area! The Pavillions is located at the 202 & Indian Bend Rd. There are all types of different cars out there. People normally show up around 6:00-7:00 on Saturday Nights.

There is Scionetics which is the unclub and now Big J is starting up NRG which is a club.

The question is pointed so don’t take it wrong. Let’s say we have a club name, what do you want/need that you are not getting right now? Will having a club name change that? We have everything we want at our disposal through www.scionetics.com and the community members who support SCIONS locally and nationally.

I agree with him. You can get everything now. Why make a club and go through all the trouble.
