Default fog light is fogged..*sigh*

So had a lot of rain in So Cal the last couple days..noticed water in my driver side APT fog light..got the water out and noticed the rubber boot is torn on the back and notice that I now have moisture on the lens..

Anyway...to put it simply..am I screwed? IT isn't terribly noticeable because of the blut bats overlays I have on them so at least that's a plus..but not sure if there is any chance of fixing that or not.

when the weather clears up it should unfog. water in your fog is better than water in your engine =/

just take them out and try to dry them out. Then email apt and get new boots. Fabian/rosedaleny bought used ones and one of the boots was torn and they sent him 2 new ones for free if i remember correctly. Also seal the back up with some silicone or do it the ghetto way like i did and use electrical tape. Haven't had any problems since I did that.

Yeah I was most likely going to try the ghetto method lol not like anyone is going to be seeing them anyway.

Any idea what APT's email address is or there website? Or are they just an ebay store? currently at work and these computers suck on ebay so yeah.

Default I got the same problem

Hey wassup guys,

I got the same problem with my passenger side light. It gets humidity and condensation if I turn my lights on. I noticed the air leak was coming from the silicone behind the base of the bulb where I put it on at. I am gonna reseal them either in the spring or maybe even sooner if I can do it at my boys shop. Lets see what happens. It sucks though, not to thread jack, but how hard is to take off 3m tape in the winter? I did the whole electrical tape/ziptie trick lolz and one side still got air in it lolz
