I am finally come down to it on my custom turbo build, have been working on this for about 4 months now but am almost done buying what i need so i can put it all together! here is a list of what i have and what i need:

HAVE:

• Garrett T3 .42 a/r turbo
• black Mishimoto intercooler
• ebay manifold and downpipe (may sound sucky but it will work just fine)
• Dezod ic pipes
• HKS SSQV BOV
• Tial 38mm wastegate .6 bar
• Boost gauge, oil temp and oil pressure with gauge pod

Still need

• Oil lines
• one step colder spark plugs
• air filter
• AEM FIC w/ 05 harness
• 550 cc injectors

So i am basically done with the buying and im super excited to start bulding this!! ill do pics once i actually start my build to show you guys but right now the garage is full with my friends integra which we stripped down and are going to paint so after thats done my car will go in! tell me what you guys think?? and if you got some stuff for sale that i need let me know too! thanks for reading.

 

Have you done any fit-check yet? Curious how the Dezod IC piping will fit on an eBay manifold, or are they generic bends that need to be cut and welded?

 

Need some gauges boost, wideband a/f, oil pressure or egt

 

seems like a pretty small turbo......why dont you go with like a 57 trim?

 

ohh yea forgot that i had all of those gauges, boost/ oil temp and press. but prolly going to invest in the uego wideband soon tho. and yea i am going to have to modify the dezod ic pipes a little maybe but it wont be much, only the one that comes of the cold side will need to be shortened a little bit and yea the turbo is small, but im just startin it off and eventually buy another motor and build that while i drive this and then invest in a bigger turbo, but yea i will prolly buy another turbo thats bigger before i buy a different motor.

weezy how much hp will that turbo support like 400hp right?

for now you dont need a big turbo going up to 400whp. unless your going to build your motor. install everything see how it goes and keep us posted GL!

 

yea thatd be tight but ill wait on that garrett for now, wanna set up what all ive got and see how it turns out. And how much you askin for that uego?

 

yea it should be good for 400 most i put was 12 psi got me a lil over 300 its a good turbo and for the price u can't beat it let me know

don't forget about tapping your oil pan, welding a new bung for the UEGO, and all the misc stuff like vac lines and gaskets

 

yea, well need oil lines and intake filter, spark plugs, wideband, vac. block...just couple small misc. stuff is all i need and will take care of within the next week here.

Getting pretty excited to get it all together so then i can go get it tuned, dont know where yet but ill find a place. Its just gonna be hard staying outta boost while i just got a base tune on the fic lol, but ill manage!

well the guy i was buying the fic and 550cc injectors couldnt follow through since he was buying a new engine management from this guy outta his house who was tuning it for him to and the guy who was doing it got evicted from his house and now he cant find this guy and hes out 1200 bucks so no more goodies for me either but its understandable in his situation...so on the look again

 

well the guy was selling me the fic with 05 harness and 550cc injectors for 575 plus 13 dollars shipping so 588 for both, Pretty good darn deal right there! kinda sucks it can workout but its understandable since he was stood up and is now out 1200....so still on the lookout for a good deal for both the aem fic with 05 harness and some 550 injectors!!
