Lol. I don't have a job but I buy and sell auto parts , and accessories to friends and through ebay. I pay for everything myself as I have for years. My car is actually under my moms name so that I could get the loan and pay a cheap a$$ price for insurance. But I do pay for it all by myself.

Mommy and Daddy will pay for my car. I will pay monthly and some of the purchase price. So what if my Mommy and Daddy pay for it. They love me. But I will pay for my mods and maybe Mommy and/or Daddy.

Not that I need answer, but I pay for my mods, car, and insurance from my pension - that's what I get for over 30 years of hard work... :P

I actually get to buy parts for my Scion, on my old car I had to make everything myself. More people should do that.

Why do you actually care??? And yes, your original post is easily taken as negative, maybe not HOSTILE, but VERY condescending... when else would you say "your mommy and daddy" to people who are, at the very least, 16 - but with an actauly average age closer to 30 here.

If you want uppity, arrogant and condescedning - ok, I can do that too. Today, today was an AVERAGE day for me, I made $2110.00 off the top. I PAY for my things - ME. I also pay for my many of my wifes things - although a Radiologist can afford their own stuff without me. I pay for my kids designer clothes and all their latest 'gotta have it' toys. They're spoiled - beyond rotten. I also buy my MOMMY AND DADDY things - expensive things, although price is only coincidence - for no reason. Even though they NEVER bought me anything after age 15 (my choice), every thing I ever had - I PAID for it - 100%. They could've if I wanted to, hell - if you watch the news there's no way you haven't heard of one of them - neither need my money, nor do I need theirs - and I stopped calling them MOMMY and DADDY nearly 30 years ago.

Did I mention the 34 rental incomes? Although I do lose 15% off the top because a mgmnt co. does all the work for us. Oh well, win some lose some.

I know i'm bitter that my parents don't but I know they could never afford to get me anything even in their wildest dreams it's sad and I dont expect it I do kinda dislike people who get things bought for them oh well. MUST BE NICE.

That question DOES make many agitated - for a whole host of reasons. Some, becuase, 'no' - their parents DIDN'T buy them everything - and others becuase they actually DID and they're uncomfortable with that fact. I didn't get anything GIVEN to ME when I was a kid, my parents came into the spotlight and money AFTER I was grown up - I too got NOTHING. ZERO. We had nothing and I knew I had to earn it if I wanted it. I had my Top Ramen and Kool-Aid days - A LOT of them. But I still don't hold it against people my age (30+) who had pampered childhoods - I knew many of them - and many didn't like it - felt embarassed.

No one likes to be reminded that they can't provide for themselves and everything they have is just being handed to them.

I still have to go through the stages of people thinking I am rich. I sure as heck am not. You wouldn't see future owner in my signature. And you sure as heck wouldn't see Scion there either. Im a broke ___ college student. Im majoring in Chemistry, I live with my parents. I use their tax report to get money from the state to fund my education, books, food, some gas.I also get money via scholarships. I put 4000 down on the car. Mommy and daddy pick up the monthly bills. I pay for insurance and maint. of the vehicle and any mods. I don't have a job yet, but im looking for one. I pay for all my stuff using junk that I sell on ebay. Till now I have sold over 3k worth of stuff. That money went into my checking account and taht is how I pay for everything that I pay for. My checking account is shrinking exponentially. It sucks. Thats how my life is.
