okay, your first post, so i'll be nice...

yes and no. since the engines are the same, one can fit the other, but it will require lots of modifications to fit everything around the engine and such because the layout, airbox, lines etc might be different since the xB's engine compartment has a different layout than the tC. also, the ECU is different, so you'd have to get a piggyback to tune the ecu.

honestly, it would be more headaches and work than is worth it. and it will void your powertrain warranty, so if you want to boost your box, a turbo would have the same consequences with a much better payoff.

then you should pretty much know the answer to your own question. park your cars next to each other, see how they are alike and different, and weigh the pros and cons.

making the supercharger work on your xB would do nothing but jeopardize its reliability and resale value.

I see that you're 26 and male with a TC and an XB. I can only assume then that you'll be driving the XB and your girl will be driving the TC. Why not turbo the XB and leave the SC on the TC? The SC TC should be more than fast enough for your girl and you could have a truly rare turbo XB.

Just food for thought.

BTW, Drax is right. You'd need custom brackets, pulleys, pipes, belts, etc. to make that TC SC work on a XB. Take a close look and I believe you might see an XB motor mount in the way of the SC.

well in 07 i bought her an 08 tc. last year someone hit her and wreaked it. she wanted an xb, 4 door for kids. i don't need a four door so the 06 will be mine. it will most likely sit in the garage 5 days out of the week anyway.we car pool in the xb to work.

Thats the your best bet, with so many superchargers failing some one is looking for a replacement. Turbo is the way to go.

Sell the tC and get a better weekend toy (motorcycle, real sports car, etc.).
