You should also be able to use that stuff they sell at hardware stores for insulating door jambs.It comes in a roll,sticky on one side,smooth on the other and comes in different widths and densities.

move to PA, then you won't need a front plate :D

I have gotten pulled over twice here in CT for no front plate. Both cops had no idea what kind of car it was. I told them I am waiting for the front bracket to come in and its on back order...I just keep my front plate under the seat so its at least with me...LOL

Are those brackets any good? Is that the farthest left/right you can go with it?

Nope. the block off plates stop it. If you use the middle grill it can be all the way to one side or the other.

I made my own I used one of those full size plastic license plate holders two 4" X 3/8th bolts some aluminum tubing available at any hobby shop some large washers and it was on

tried that a while back here in Missouri. Cop (lady cop) ended up writing me up for failire to display insurance because my card ran out 3 days prior. All I had to do was go to court, show proof of insurance and it was dropped. $75 fine here in Missouri for no plate, but when I get the xB, I'll have to try my luck with no plate, or build a bracket of my own.

dajap: did you have to drill into the bumper for that? I have a cusco style one and it seems to require drilling.

Hmmm... Last I remember, the honda I drove was one never produced in the states called an Accord Inspire and we drove on the left side of the road cause I was in JAPAN.

B2finity, I drilled two small holes on the top of the second opening. If I were to take the plate off you wouldn't see the holes.
