has anyone gone totally NA on their engine? im talking fully built internals.... rods, pistons, cams, bore, port polish... anything? prices? performance? thanks

Nothing streetable that Ive seen... If this were a Gran Turismo world itd be done no problem. Its just so much easier to get power out of boost even light boost. Ive personally considered the NA route but its just too much of a hassle.

no one wants to waste 5 grand for no reason to make like 30 more hp when you can go turbo and make 350 on the stock block all day

This.

If our motors were equipped with lift and would rev to 9k rpms then I could see making decent n/a power (like the Honda K-series motors). It's just not worth it with the 2az-fe, if you want power you gotta go boost.
