as you can see I just ordered my injen short ram, i payed 151 for it free shipping :). should be getting it about wednesday! and damnit as soon as i get my check its ill be ordering the precision muffler axleback! AND I WILL WIN THE PHOTO CONTEST so theres my springs lol :nails: its not terribly difficult to install the intake is it? ive taken my intake apart before, so it cant be much more difficult than that? i know i should probably search for this but you disconnect the battery to reset the ecu no? im a n00b :loser:

It's simple. The hardest part is removing the original equipment.

I had to take the battery out completely. The air filter wouldn't go to it's location with it in.

i had to take the battery out all the way too. im special needs when it comes to mechanics so if i can do it, u can do it. :P

It should take less than an hour. And that includes getting out the tools, and wiping them and putting them away. I just rotated my battery 90 degrees and everything fits.

No need to disconnect to reset the ECU. Just let it idle for 15 minutes while cleaning up.

Some will question my method, but after a dozen plus installs, its worked and have never had a CEL come on.

I bought it from hi rev imports, they were close to me and were on the injen dealer list, i tried sparks but they were on backorder, as was ptuning. right after i buy it hopup had it for 137 !DOH! either way, not a bad price

installing this intake should be easy and is a good way to get started in modding. good luck with it
