while installing my ac auto tech oil adapter on the oil filter union adapter part

while screwing it in(the female adapter) from the looks of it it bit a few threads (male of the oil filter union on the block) and i did torque it down to 22-LBF

it just doesn't quite look right to me

any advice would be greatly appreciated

What does not look right? I did mine last week the same way you did, and I thought it seemed a little loose, but I have driven over 500 miles since I installed it and have not leaked one drop.

i know its not loose i do have it torqued down to 22-LBF

i'm just complaining about that the oil filter union adapter didn't / don't have enough threads around the oil filter union on the block

within 30 secs u would see a oil leak or not , but only 30 secs and u cannot harm the engine as long as you start with oil .

ok ok ok ok ok

so i took my oil block adapter off and on the union adapter part it is threading only 3 (yes i can count lol) threads on the oil filter union

so i went to 2 NPT stores in town and didn't have any thing i was wanting/looking for

and i did call ac auto tech and scionsport.com

they said try it
