doess anyonee know if the JDM or srs exhuastt is a descent cat back exhaust and is srs n jdm the same thing?

 

Never heard of this "JDM" exhaust. Gonna need pics or link. Now some have SRS on here, search. They even have a clip put up on YouTube of the SRS, I think he had a header also making it sound super raspy. Been forever since I seen the clip though. Search don't hurt, there's even the Post Pics of your Exhaust stickied at the top of the Drivetrain/Power section.

 

those are ebay brand exhausts, theres no such thing as "jdm" for the tc, and the SRS exhaust on ebay has horrible fitment its litertally sideway out of the bumper exit

Noooo, say it isn't so! The tC is the only/last model Scion that's Japan assembled and origin of parts. The xB Gen 2 parts of origin for the engine is China!

 

I would be VERy cautious with that set.

are you looking at this stuff because you don't really know what else is out there?

just tryn to get a feel for what you are going for out of the exhaust.... SOUND, FLOW, etc.....
because IMO and again IMO, i'm not tryn to gun you down or anything,,, but i would go with any axleback like the trd or greddy or hks..... for about $200-$300 you can have a real nice axel back that will sound pretty good and its gonna be pretty good quality....
i made the mistake buying someting like this and it was a nightmare to install and sounded like total hell...

and like everyone else said... if it says "JDM"... its gonna be a nock off of another major brand... there is a reason why it's only $200 for everything...

but again you got to ask yourself those questions^^^^^ so you can make the best choice....

 

once i saw "JDM" as the title, i wanted to come in here and see what everyone was going to tell the OP about JDM and the tC!! lol....

I made the mistake of getting that sr*s exhaust when i just got my tC and i had to do a lot of bending to make that damn exhaust fit my car!!! ended up selling it for $60 and got myself a good ol' ARK N1 Cat-back setup!

save up your money man cause you don't want to end up paying more for a good quality setup... don't cheap out like some of us have!!!

what about the raceland cat bacxk exhaust? i kno ther intake is good cuz i have it and ther coil overs r godd but u think i try the raceland cat back?
