Just remembered something I did when ordering my xB, which should be helpful to most of you future owners.

I requested the dealer not put their decal/sticker on my car. I did have to order mine so it's not like it was already on there. There's no good reason to advertise a dealer when you are paying them. Just tell them if it's on there you are not going to buy the car.

Just a thought.

Good advice. I forgot all about this until I went to pick up the box. When I was looking it over, I immediatly asked them to remove thier decal from the back. I mean this thing was huge. No hassle, they took it right off.

Mine had a big oval sticker. I asked them to take it off. When the guy was peelng it off, the sound of the adhesive they used made me think the paint was gonna rip off along with it. They used some heavy duty glue stuff. Was not happy about that. Thats a good tip from the poster.

i hate to see those stickers on cars :loser: . i feel if i'm driving around advertising for your dealership, you should hook me up somehow.

i was lucky, they had just gotten mine in when i tested it and took it home, so they didn't have a chance to 'tag' it.

i still have to change those license plate holders though and i saw some i liked that i'm gonna pick up.

The gubers at my dealership located my vehicle from another dealership. They took their sticker and placed it on top of the other dealers sticker. I had the pleasure of removing two sticker.

Use a hair dryer to loosen the adhesive and goo gone to remove the rest of it.
2 minuts and its done.
