Is there a specific spot to measure? flowmini98 02-14-2005, 05:04 AM scionxr.....dude after were done with tohse MODS...you might want to look into getting a full one off custom wheel ...because im not sure if your gonna be able to get a big enough spacer to accomodate what you need. and if you do get one it may not be the safest. your gonna have to play with the backspacing also in order to run the smallest spacer possible ScionxR 02-14-2005, 06:38 AM i found a site that custom makes adaptors that bolt on where the wheel goes, then you bolt the wheel to that. I just need to figure out how wide to get the plate made. DunDeal 02-14-2005, 07:40 AM well I got spacer adaptors on mine the way the rim shop did it was by getting my stock tire and my rim and they measured it somehow and they brought it to me in about 4 to 5 hours. hotbox05 02-14-2005, 10:26 AM Start with the one ton garage spacers and then if need be use some good quality h&r spacers in conjunction with some low offset wheels. Word! Gotta go with the One Ton Garage rear hub spacers first. I put them on this weekend and They made a big difference. http://www.scionlife.com/gallery/data/500/11526MVC-020F-med.JPG flowmini98 02-14-2005, 02:21 PM i found a site that custom makes adaptors that bolt on where the wheel goes, then you bolt the wheel to that. Tamago 02-14-2005, 02:32 PM low offset wheels.. seriously, such a better option! ScionxR 02-14-2005, 04:38 PM i got 17 x 7 Rims and 205/40ZR17 tires on them so theyre really flat. Frankenscion: Did you use the 5mm or 10mm from OneTon, and about how far out did your wheels get pushed? Tamago 02-14-2005, 05:04 PM lol if he got 10mm spacers, his wheels get pushed out 20mm total :) math owns you? ;) j/k camoboXb 02-14-2005, 06:58 PM Start with the one ton garage spacers and then if need be use some good quality h&r spacers in conjunction with some low offset wheels. I used these. http://www.onetongarage.com/products/rear_spacer_shim/index.html They are the 3/8 rear spacer shims. Completely different than a normal type shim. Much, much safer. do you have any pics(other than the ones in your profile) of your grille installed? i've been thinking about getting that one. looks really nice. TheKnown 02-16-2005, 08:40 AM is there any advantage other than cosmetic while running spacers Tamago 02-16-2005, 12:22 PM back end is much more stable. psyontific 02-16-2005, 01:15 PM isn't this the wrong forum to b talking about Xa's and Xb's Tamago 02-16-2005, 01:52 PM why? it's not a TC only forum. we were here first lol, get out ! camoboXb 02-16-2005, 04:20 PM why? it's not a TC only forum. we were here first lol, get out ! katchkillah 02-17-2005, 08:52 AM Tread & Butter => TB wait that's not TC. just playing. just had a long crappy day. had to have some fun. Ashe_WCM 02-17-2005, 10:12 AM For some reason they think everything is about them. Audicted 02-26-2005, 08:51 PM Hey, for 17x7 tC wheels, what kind of spacers and by whom should I get? LavaBox_v1 02-26-2005, 10:10 PM I have 16x7.5" rims with a +32 offset. I used the H&R 15mm wheel spacers in the rear and my wheel and tires sit FLUSH. I had to use the extended wheel studs that they supply. The fronts I used the H&R 5mm wheel spacers and they sit flush also. I didn't need to used the extended wheel studs on the front. xAlex 02-26-2005, 10:31 PM i dont think you'll need spacers |
