Default What clutch kit for scion going on Turbo .

Yes i know there are many posts on the site about clutch kits but everyone that comments on the kits dont even have turbo . I will be making around 300 to 350 . I need someone that has atc or exedy to tell me what they think and witch brand is better . I can get kits for a good price but i need actual experience of someone with a turbo car and a clutch kit that can last and take the abuse of turbo. I been wanting to install my turbo for more then 1 year now and this damn clutch has me paused.

Please help

I would go with ACT - I just bought ACT HDM or somthing like that....supports 390 lb/trq.....I dont thinkg Exedy makes one worth it for a turbo tC....Cometition Clutch seems to have most issues so I would stay away from those.

I switch to the exedy and I love it!! The pedal feels close to stock. I had a CC stage 4 and this clutch blows it out of the water

yea stock tcs have mushy soft clutches except for mine i have a feeling its due to how i have driven it, my vote is for the exeedy...

johnhawkins how can u say the exeedy isnt worht it when ptuning runs it on their car that make a whole 300 more hp than most turbo people on the forums

for the record they use a exeedy stage 2 clutch the next step with exeedy is their twindisc but the stage two is all u need

Thank you guys thank you . i just got tired of reading posts of people that have no turbo and are talking garbage about a cluth with out having any experiense.
MOSPEEDTC i seen some of your videos and that thing is sick . I had a civic on boost before with a atc and trust me the pedal was super hard but in a way i like that because it makes you feel like you driving a race car . Any idea what model to get from exedy

they only offer 3 for the TC stage1,2 and twin disc......

I would say stage 2 for budget if you got the money get the twin....

I have ACT HD street disk clutch, definately harder pedal feel then stock. Rated at 390 tq ( rating is flywheel as usual ) but so far the clutch is holding good at 375 WTQ which is way over 390tq at the flywheel and in addition to that over 35 dyno runs while tuning and not even a sign of slipping. So i would definately go ACT and i hope they produce twin disk for us cuz when this one burns out i'm getting twin disk.
