got my gauges and new spipe all installed! Except I think I messed up and didn't connect my boost gauge to power all the way because it doesn't turn on at all but for everyone who tapped the oil pressure sensor off the block where the dummy light goes in at... do you get steady readings from it or does it fluctuate a lot? My goes back and forth by about 8 psi whenever I'm at a steady speed. Also I've checked and there are no oil leaks either. And I know that at idle its supposed to be at 8-10 and then 40-50 while driving. And I know where the afr is supposed to be when boosted, but is it the same when not boosted too? I'm just making sure everything is going correctly before the turbo install. Thanks guys
Your oil pressure is at 10PSI at idle??????????????????????????
AFRs you want to see between 14-16 crusing.. once you get on the throttle more and hit boost you want to be below 13 the below 12 in the upper RPM

10psi idle oil pressure from that local is normal if the engine has been ran and is hot.
and yes it bounces around while driving, in idle it still bounces around but not really that much.

if tuned correctly your afr's should be as follows
14.7-13.8 idle (13.8 is just if you wanted idle to be a little smoother)
14.7 normal driving (saves gas)
14.7 then tapering to 12 (or 11.5) for accel and into boost

Yes/No. It will fluctuate, but it should generally stay around 14.7 (idle, light accel, cruising). When coasting, it should be "---", as no fuel is being used. At WOT, it will probably dip down into the mid 13's.
It's basically the same readings as you would have if you were boosted, but not as aggressive.

alright thanks. thats what i was looking for. my oil pressure gauge was all over the place when i had a leak then after i fixed it and it didn't leak any more i was scared i messed something up! ^^
and also, my boost gauge once i finally get that working, should that one read steady or will that one be all over the place? there's no leak in that either just want to be sure ^^

anyways jon what are you driving these days?
vac at idle=18-20 (18-20 is iffy cause that normaly means a vac leak) 20-22 is the bullseye
normal driving can vary depending on how much throttle your giving it, i cant remember what cruising was. its been a while

question, yesterday i tried to pass someone, when i hit boost the car kind of felt like the engine was being starved and my afr's where in the high 13's to low 14's... does anyone have an idea why this happened, also could it be the weather, it was 31 degrees out

*do you mean the outside temp, if you are it was like 45 degrees
*nothing has changed
*im running the greddy ultimate
hmmm...cant say for sure mang, i dont deal in the ultimate and not sure of its limitations. best bet i think would be to contact p-tuning about the issue and see if there is anyway they can help guide ya.
