Default kicker amp help

ok a friend gave me 2 brand new 10'' kicker cvr subs they are 4ohm dual voice coil my question is whats the best kicker amp to use i really dont understand the ohm and stuff on them i was lookin at a mono kicker zx300-1 would this work? i really want to stay with a kicker amp i mostly want this system for show so i kinda want it all to match im not really wanting it to blow the roof off so going low on the watts would prolly be ok i dont have to have a amp that pushes max watts for these subs.. if i went with a 2 channel amp which would be best or is it possible to wire it to the mono zx300-1... i tried emailing kicker but no response ... thanks alot

Wiring: http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftec...2&woofer_imp=4

That means you'll have to locate an amplifier that can make it's power at 1ohm or 4ohms. You could purchase the aforementioned ZX300-1, but you'd be either not using it to it's full potential or overloading it.
If you must stick with the Kicker brand, I'd recommend looking into the DX500.1. I don't know much about Kicker anymore, so I'm not sure on it's pricing.

You could also opt for an MB Quart amplifier. They make good products at great prices. The MB Quart DSC500.1 would fill the bill quite nicely. With a little searching, it can be found for less than $200.

Yep. As long as you wire the subwoofers accordingly, and if you can find that particular amplifier. It does not appear that they're producing that model any longer.
I tend to stick to my 'boutique' brands.

Kicker and Rockford Fosgate are good "mainstream" companies IMO.
Kicker doesn't make many if any 1-ohm stable amps though.
Try this amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+T500-1bd.html

500W RMS @ 1 ohm
