Ok guys.....I need some help here. I don't know if I'm just too used to driving my Volvo..........which could pretty much do a 180 while parallel parked...............but it seems like my xB has a pretty pathetic turning radius. Other than that.....I love the car...............but if I try to pull a U-turn.........I can barely make it..........on a 4 lane road! Is there something wrong with my car in particular? Or have other people expereinced the same thing? Thanks.

Well .... the xB has about the same turning radius as a sienna minivan .... yes, I said it .. minivan ... on the plus side the seinna has the tightest turning radius of any minivan out there

You'd think they would turn on a dime. Maybe it has something to do with not upsetting the center of gravity and making it feel unstable.

Could be. I was also thinking maybe the engineers knew this would be a car people might be trying to slap big old rims on..........and thought they'd avoid rubbing issues by not making the wheels crank so far to each side. And I'm not so familiar with front wheel drive cars......never owned one........so I was wondering if that wasn't part of it......the fact that its front wheel drive. Oh well.......I guess it's a small price to pay. I do love driving it otherwise.

You must not be using enough E-brake :lol: , Yeah I noticed it's a little on the wide radius side of cars I've driven, I thought it had to do with it being FWD. I think the two worst turning radius cars I've driven were a del sol and an older accord...

i don't know what up with ya'll .... i can flip a u-turn in 1 lane .... and i'm on 18's

its because the wheels are too far apart from each other lengthwise... my focus used to bust donuts easily, now its a lil harder...
