Does anyone have the NKB body kit installed? I'm thinking of starting a new project and this might be the kit for me. I like the clean and simple look about it.. Post pics if you have. Thanks...

View Full Version : NKB Body Kit? hawaiian_xB 02-14-2005, 06:46 PM Does anyone have the NKB body kit installed? I'm thinking of starting a new project and this might be the kit for me. But I believe its the lowered stance(wheel & suspension) that makes the kit really nice. just an observation. http://www.s-2.co.jp/nkb/aero/bbb/g/bbb_f.jpg snicka 02-15-2005, 12:51 AM Do you guys know where this kit can be purchased? Max2k 02-15-2005, 01:21 AM Memoryfab can get it for you. I think someone had it on a lava. snicka 02-15-2005, 01:41 AM Thanks! How is the quality of this kit? FrankenScion 02-15-2005, 02:01 AM That is niiiiiiiice! BCSxB925 02-15-2005, 02:37 AM Do you guys know where this kit can be purchased? www.memoryfab.com or possibly www.myautofashion.com joescionwv 02-15-2005, 03:07 AM find the pic of it on a lava must see Max2k 02-15-2005, 03:48 AM It didn't look nearly as good as that red bB. It had hubcaps, stock suspension, and $2000 worth of body kit. The suspension and wheel fitment are doing the work on that bB, the body kit's just getting the credit. You have to get staggered, cambered wheels with stretched tires and air ride to make those VIP kits look that good. Those side skirts are the sex though, I wonder why toyota doesn't sell them stock. erikcooper 02-15-2005, 03:55 AM Wow, that is nice. I like the fact that it is full bumper, not just lips, and by being so got rid of the stock bottom grills. Is the back bumper lower than stock on this kit? It isn't anything special and doesn't look to be a $530 improvement over stock to me... hawaiian_xB 02-15-2005, 04:18 AM Well the complete kit from MemoryFab is around $1480 and it fits the US spec ver. without any modifications. I talked to Dave today over there and he was very informative. The rear isn't to special, but it is a bit lower than stock and I think it's the finishing touch to the kit. BTW it's only $380 for the rear. But anyways.. where are those pics of the kit on the lava bB?? RFX 02-15-2005, 01:48 PM I also like the kit. But I believe its the lowered stance(wheel & suspension) that makes the kit really nice. just an observation. http://www.s-2.co.jp/nkb/aero/bbb/g/bbb_f.jpg Wow that kit looks nice. I really like the deep dish wheels. fachiro1 02-15-2005, 10:50 PM That Red is SICK!!!!!!!!!!!! disco 02-15-2005, 11:02 PM I am telling you why there is no Red I do not know. Fujiz_xb 02-16-2005, 02:17 PM that kit is siiick.. kinda, kinda looks like the TRF in a way in similarity..but i like that one fo sho. squirrel 02-16-2005, 04:23 PM I know a couple of kits were sold to xB owners, but not sure if they are on Scion Life or not. wyldkard 02-16-2005, 06:05 PM What's funny is if you add up the prices of the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper it's $40 less than the package price. -Z rollotomassi 02-17-2005, 01:30 AM What's funny is if you add up the prices of the front bumper, side skirts, and rear bumper it's $40 less than the package price. -Z  Be a pal and throw a link down so I can check out the prices. Sean Orataro 02-25-2005, 07:16 PM I know of somebody with that kit but has failed to put it on his xB because it does not come close to fitting our xB's. Alot of work needs to be done before even trying to attemp to put it on. GINNJUICE 02-25-2005, 07:56 PM there is 3 kinds of NKB body kits i have this one http://www.s-2.co.jp/nkb/aero/bb/g/bb_f.jpg this one is the lip kit but its short in the front, back, and the side skirt due to the kit is made for the japanese BB. the red xb that u guys are showing is the full bumper kit and u gonna have to scrifice ur fog lights. and that is made for the US XB so that will fit perfect. thats why i didnt bought the full bumper kit. i dont wanna lose my fog lights. here is the other one http://www.s-2.co.jp/nkb/aero/bbx/g/bbx_f.jpg this one is also short, its made for the japanese xb too. i was gonna get this but its gonna be to hard to modify this one than the lip kit. and also if anybody is intrested i have those same wheels & am trying to sell them they are the NKB power CUP 15x8 in the front and 15x9 in the back. with tires. 2tone_xB 02-26-2005, 02:48 AM GINN  unlmtdndeavor 02-26-2005, 04:02 AM GINN, what finish are the wheels, what offset, how much, and do you know the weight on them? |
