Ok im having a problem bleeding my clutch. I could feel air in my lines. real sloppy pedal, engaging strange. Went under the hood realized the bleed nipple was a bit loose. Hooked it up to a MityVac and cant get fluid out of it. i can get it up to about 80kpa and still nothing. I searched google and other fourms for hours trying to find the same problem and no luck. The pedal just snaps to the floor, no return... yes the spring is fine:icon_nono:. i have the clutch engaged with a locking pliers hoping the fluid would get sucked down but nothing... PLEASE HELP.

Fill the reservoir back up with fluids making sure the bleed bolt is tighten by hand. Then have one person in the car manually with their hand pump the pedal several times (I always do it 10 times) and then have the other person unscrew the bleed bolt to bleed the line. Your going to have to do this quite a few times pumping the pedal by hand until pressure returns to the pedal. Hope that helps.....I never use a pump for bleeding the clutch lines.

ok thanks, im going to put a few hours into it today after work. Ill post back the results later on tonight.
And one of the problems in the car is that the pedal is not really active. You can move the pedal all you want but under the hook it doesn't actually engage that hydraulic lever off the clutch cylinder. I think there's just that much air in it. i can do it by hand however like you said till it returns.

Would my brakes work like normal if if the master cylinder went bad? I'm at work on my iPhone but I'll be home. I left the mityvac hooked to while I'm at work. I'm hoping it just needs time to draw the fluid down. When the mityvac is hooked to it should I have the the clutch cylinder help open or closed? All my hondas had individual cylinders. Wonder if it has anything to do with brakes and clutch running off the same resev.

9 hours to bleed a clutch. Not sure exactly what i did. I bled the reservoir, drained the entire clutch line, cleaned the bleed valve. Still couldn't get the fluid to draw through the line so i got the good idea to push the fluid through all the way into the reservoir till there were no air bubbles. Not perfect but engaging decent. Thanks guys. :gun:

Where is the clutch bleed bolt?

if you look at the front of the car it's located to the right of the header towards the driver side. Or at look at radiator fan the right one is literally parallel to the bleed bolt it should have like a rubber cap on it like in this picture.
