I personally like color matched grilles, however I haven't seen too many out there. Can anyone post some pics of some really sick ones? I'm looking to pick one up, but I can't make up my mind. :money:

kinda an open question.

the most common (color matched) at the moment are the OEM grilles, the integrated foglight grille is popular right now, the flat faced grille (but most are chrome, not painted). There are pics all over this site for them.

Other than that, for the most part, you are looking at something custom made.

I have an all in one-peice flat faced solid 'grille' with wrap-around the sides upper and lower headlight eyebrows (eyelids) over that protrude onto the fenders just a touch (top and bottom eyelid sections come to a point about 1/2" onto the fender) and integrated half round driving lights (looks like scowling eyes). BUT as the "worthless without pics" chant goes... it's not painted, so, I've taken no pics.

I like the Vizages type B grill, but I don't think anyone has it. http://www.elementautoworks.com/images/vizage-xb-grill-B.jpg

I hadn't seen that one before. I don't think anyone has it either.

Surprised there's no knock-offs floating around. A bodykit guy could copy that in urethane foam and resin in a day.

Good clean lines.

I still like the standard grille best of all the grilles I have seen on here. The others just don't look natural. It's all personal preference in the end. If you like it, go with it! Can't please everyone.

yea..a big part of the problem is finding the parts. The xB is still new. Not quite like finding parts for a civic.

I am partial to the Billet Grills for all three. Of course I am going for more of a Rod look.

I purchased the upper and lower T-Rex grills from billet-grills.com. The grills look GREAT! and the installation was easy. I had all three installed within 30 minutes.

FYI - I have NO affiliation with them. I am just a very happy Customer!

B-Cool Billet Grills Black, Polished or Brushed. Best Billets on the market. You can buy cheaper Grills on e-bay but they are not as good.

I personally don't like the billet look at all. For now (and probably for awhile) I'm rocking the stock BSP grill. I like it =)

I found B-Cools web page:

I'm just needing to find a shop that carries the upper grill portion, I think I'm going
to buy one today if I can find a good price online!

fbord, why not check out gary nish's products at http://www.nish-designs.com/ . i've got a BOP myself and am using his carbon fiber products, and catch this, with a candy blue and clearcoat finish. he'll even do pearl effect flames. kinda to match like he's been doing for some of the hot lavas. they have a sweet one piece eyelid that crosses in front of the grill to give it a more "aggressive" effect. i like the lip over the headlight for a nice touch of style. not that i want you to copy my idea but its all cool. call gary and he'll help you figure it out.

you might just paint your griill BOP and put an eyelid over the top. that would look awesome.

Damn, the more I look at that B-Cool grill, the more I see
that it's for sure the one I want!! Does anyone know where
we can buy them online. I've Googled for the past 30
minutes and I only see references to it, but no shops that
are carrying it.

Any help?

My xB was featured on the FAQ forum for a new grille.
It was something different(?) for my xB.
There's plenty more you can choose from, so maybe something will catch your eye.

Here's there site:
www.fantasy-creations.net

And here's the grille installation tutorial from Mikochu:

That eyelid is exactly what I've been looking for. I could just throw a new grill under it and it would look sweet. Thanks!

I don't like chrome or billet, except in very small doses.

What I'd almost be willing to pay for is the one-piece smoked light/grill assembly on one of the early bB show cars.

I have a 05 BOP xb w/ a Damd painted upper grille w/ a bB hatch emblem & stainless mesh Jag grilles below. Photos show both w/ billet (original grilles) and the new grilles. I haven't decided which one I like best, but since I sold the original billet pieces....... I guess it's the painted.

The Damd grille mounts like the original, 2 radial tab/slots at the bottm, and 3 push pins on top.
